3. OPERATION
3.1 TURNING ON THE EQUIPMENT
1. Check that all input and output breaker are in OFF position. Apply DC voltage to the DC input
plus and minus terminals of the inverter.
2. If the inverter has a “precharge” push button near the terminal block, push that button, until
electronic boards and front panel is energized. Leds on electronic boards can be observed to
understand, that electronic boards are energized. Welcome message will be displayed on LCD
panel.
3. Switch the DC input breaker K1 to ON position.
4. Push ON buttons (most left two buttons) on the front panel. The inverter will start to generate
output AC voltage, with a predefined ramp. (If automatic startup is chosen, the equipment will
start generating AC output voltage, without the need of pushing ON buttons.) (See Section 5,
Front Panel)
5. If possible, from the inverter side of the K2 output breaker, control the AC voltage, with a
voltmeter.
6. Swicth the K2 output breaker to ON position. Inverter will feed output loads. Output voltage,
output current and other measurements can be observed via the LCD panel.
3.2 TURNING OFF THE EQUIPMENT
1. Push OFF buttons on the front panel of the inverter. Inverter will stop generate AC voltage.
2. Switch input breaker K1 and output breaker K2 to OFF position.
3.3 AUTOMATIC STARTUP
It can be programmed, whether the inverter starts its operation itself or not, when the DC input
supply is applied. (See Section 5, Front Panel)
An inverter programmed for automatic startup will automaticly start it operation and generate AC,
when the DC input supply is applied. This option is especially preferred for far installations, where
user intervention is not possible. In this mode, if a trip because of an alarm condition occurs, the
inverter will atutomaticly restart and generate AC, after the alarm condition is disappered. This
status can be observed by the blinking operation led.
