Why am I getting an error message when starting EMP NS Connection on my Epson EasyMP EMP-1705 Projector, and how can I fix it?

  If you encounter an error message when starting EMP NS Connection with your Epson Projector, try reconnecting. If the issue persists, verify the network settings on both your computer and the projector’s EasyMP. Also, ensure that you are entering the correct keyword displayed on the projector’s EasyMP screen. Restart EMP NS Connection or try uninstalling and reinstalling it. Confirm that a network adapter and its driver are properly installed on your computer, then restart the computer and try connecting again. Lowering the computer’s screen resolution to SXGA (1280 x 1024) or less may also help. Remember that you cannot connect to multiple projectors simultaneously.

  If the image and sound for movies are not displayed, appear slowly, or stop when using EMP NS Connection on your Epson Projector, it could be due to several factors. The movie playback screen in Media Player or the screen saver preview might not display correctly depending on your computer. Display speed can decrease with WEP encryption or multiple connected projectors. If DHCP is set in 'Advanced Connection Mode' or wired LAN connection and a connectable DHCP server isn't found, EasyMP standby status may take longer to achieve. Start EMP NS Connection before playing movies. The electromagnetic wave environment can also cause interruptions.

  If you cannot control or monitor your Epson Projector with EMP Monitor, first, ensure that the wireless LAN unit is securely connected. Then, check the projector’s network settings. Try uninstalling and reinstalling EMP Monitor. Make sure to register the projector to the projector list. If the projector is in standby mode, set 'Network On' in 'Standby Mode' from the configuration menu to use the mail notification function. Also, verify that your electrical outlet or power source is functioning correctly, and check that the network cable is properly connected.

  If you cannot connect to your Epson Projector in 'Advanced Connection Mode' or via wired LAN, ensure that the computer, access point, and projector are set to the same SSID. When selecting WEP from 'Security', set the access point, computer, and projector to the same WEP key. Ensure the projector is set to allow connections from the access point. If you are not using DHCP, adjust each setting accordingly. You can also select 'Manual search' from EMP NS Connection, specify the IP address, and connect.
