Installing a memory module
Before installing
1. Turn off the printer.

Warning:
To avoid electrical shock, do not attempt to install a memory
module unless the printer is turned off.
2. Unplug the printer’s power cord from the electrical outlet.
3. Remove all interface cables from the interface connectors.
4. Remove the Multibin Unit if it is installed. See “Removing the
Multibin Unit” on page 3-41.
5. Open the top cover of the face-down tray with your fingers.
