The printer monitors the condition of the print head nozzles before
printing starts, so set the operation for when clogged nozzles (missing
nozzles) are detected during monitoring.
When the number of clogged nozzles that are detected exceeds the
number set in Threshold of Clogged Nozzles, Head Cleaning is
executed as part of maintenance.
Max Retry Cleaning Count sets the number of times maintenance can
be retried if the clogged nozzles are not cleared after maintenance is
done.

Periodic Cleaning When On is set, cleaning is done at the interval set for one of Print
Duration, Print Counter, or Print Length from Execution Timing. At
this time, cleaning is performed at the level set in Cleaning Level.

Nozzles
Stop Printing Sets the action when the number of clogged nozzles that are detected
exceeds the number set in Threshold of Clogged Nozzles.
When Stop Printing is set, the message Auto Nozzle Maintenance
found that the allowable number of clogged nozzles has been
exceeded. The print quality may decline. is displayed on the control
panel screen, printing is stopped, and the printer enters standby status.
When Show Alert is set, printing continues without stopping while the
message remains displayed.
When Auto Cleaning is set, Head Cleaning is performed at the time set
in Maintenance Schedule.

When On is set, Head Cleaning is performed automatically when the
printer is not used for a specified period. This cleaning ejects
sedimented ink in the ink tubes to prevent print quality from falling.
