Squeeze the lock on the carriage cover to unlock
it, and then open the carriage cover towards you.

Turn all the fixing levers (4 locations) sideways to
release the locks of the Ink Damper Unit.
J
Lift up the Ink Damper Unit and hang it
temporarily on the hook.
Lift the Ink Damper Unit straight up while
moving it up and down with both hands.
Turn over the Ink Damper Unit and hang it
temporarily on the hook.
