Advanced Paper Settings
Confirm ICC profile
(Except for models without the
Adobe PS3 Expansion Unit)
The ICC profile name is displayed when using paper with custom paper settings.
Confirm Color Density
(Except for models without the
Adobe PS3 Expansion Unit)
The ink density is displayed when using paper with custom paper settings. The ink
density cannot be changed.
Paper Thickness 0.01 - 1.50 mm (0.01 mm units)/0.4 - 59.1 mil (0.1 mil units)
Platen Gap Auto, 1.2, 1.6, 1.9, 2.1, 2.4
Select a wider setting if print results are scratched or smudged.
Top/Bottom Margins Standard, Top 3 mm/Bottom 3 mm, Top 15 mm/Bottom 15 mm, Top 20 mm/
Bottom 15 mm, Top 45 mm/Bottom 15 mm
When you select Standard, the margins are set automatically according to the
paper.
Paper Suction -3 - +3
Paper Size Check On, Off
When this is set to On, the width of the loaded roll paper is automatically
detected.
Auto Cut Follow Paper Source Settings, Never Cut
Roll Core Diameter 2inch, 3inch
Set the paper core size for the roll paper being loaded.
Paper Eject Roller Auto, Use, Do Not Use
Paper Feed Offset -1.0 - +1.50%
This item is only displayed for custom paper settings.
Restore Default Settings Restores advanced settings to their default settings. The advanced paper settings
are saved for the paper type. When printing is complete, the default settings are
restored.

Remaining Amount Enter the amount of paper remaining.
Remaining Alert A warning is displayed when the amount of remaining roll paper is running low.
Enter the amount of remaining roll paper that will trigger the warning.
Change Paper Type (or Change Pa-

You can change the set paper type. You can also change the paper width by
setting Paper Size Check to Off.
