Advanced Paper Settings
Confirm ICC profile
(Except for models without the
Adobe PS3 Expansion Unit)
The ICC profile name is displayed when using paper with custom paper settings.
Confirm Color Density
(Except for models without the
Adobe PS3 Expansion Unit)
The ink density is displayed when using paper with custom paper settings. The ink
density cannot be changed.
Paper Thickness 0.01 - 1.50 mm (0.01 mm units)/0.4 - 59.1 mil (0.1 mil units)
This item is only displayed for Custom Paper Setting.
Platen Gap Auto, 1.2, 1.6, 1.9, 2.1, 2.4
Select a wider setting if print results are scratched or smudged.
Paper Suction -3 - +3
Thin or soft paper may not be fed correctly. If this occurs, reduce the setting.
Paper Size Check On, Off
When this is set to On, the width of the loaded paper is automatically detected.
Paper Eject Roller Auto, Use, Do Not Use
Paper Feed Offset -1.0 - +1.50%
Displayed when using paper with custom paper settings.
Restore Default Settings Restores Advanced Paper Settings to their default settings. The Advanced Paper
Settings are saved for the paper type. When printing is complete, the default
settings are restored.
