5.2 Adjustment of the USN 52R/

GAIN Gain adjustment
With this function the echoes of the reflectors to be
detected are amplified so that they appear on the dis-
play at the required height.
In order that you are able to change the gain at any
time, you will find this function in all function groups of
the first operating level.
Operation:
– Change the setting of GAIN with M.
D -Setting the dB STEP
You set the gain with a certain step size which you can
select with D. There are five steps available:
• 6.5 to 24 dB
(variable via dB STEP in the second operating level,
refer to Chapter 5.6)
• 6.0 dB
• 2.0 dB
• 1.0 dB
• 0.5 dB
• 0.1 dB
Operation:
• Press D in order to change between the five steps.
The set step is displayed as a value in the GAIN
function.
