– Only touch new lamps in the handling zone.
– Test the safety switch to ensure that it works.
The safety switch ensures that the device switches off in the event of a
faulty filter panel or when a filter panel is missing.
– Press the button.
If the button springs back automatically then it is functional.
– Replace the filter panel.
5.9 Clean and calibrate the sensor
Clean the sensor
NOTE:
Do not spray the sensor directly with detergent.
Always remove the sensor from the station for cleaning.
– Remove the sensor from the base station.
– Clean the sensor housing, measuring window and base station with a
soft, damp cloth. See separate instructions (order no. 1005902-..).
– Replace the sensor into the base station.
WARNING!
Do not rub with a dry cloth – danger of scratching!
Failure to comply voids any warranty claims.
– For the fast, hygienic and proper cleaning of the sensor
and base station, use specially developed cleaning
agents.
– Concentrated disinfectants or solvents (e.g. Lysoform,
ethyl alcohol or other fluids containing alcohol) must
not be used.
