Remote control parts and functions
The ON and
STANDBY buttons
are not used with
this unit.
If both the main unit and the remote control have buttons
with the same function, we only explain procedures using one
of them in this manual. However, the other can also be used in
the same manner.
a DISPLAY button
During playback or when paused, press to change what is
shown on the display (page20).
b Skip (.//) buttons
Use to skip to the previous or next track.
Press and hold during playback to search backward/forward.
Repeatedly press and hold to change the backward/forward
search speed (page18).
Use to change parameters when in setting mode (page24).
c Stop (8) button
Press to stop playback.
Press when in setting mode to complete changing settings and
show the ordinary display (page24).
d PLAY AREA button
When stopped, press to change the playback area of a Super
Audio CD (page17).
e REPEAT button
Use for repeat playback (page20).
f MODE button
Press to change the input source (page21).
Press and hold to enter setting mode (page24).
g Tray open/close (-) button
Press to open and close the disc tray.
h Play (7) button
Press to start disc playback.
i Pause (9) button
Press to pause playback.
Press when paused to start playback.
j AMP buttons
These buttons are not used with this unit. They can be used with
ESOTERIC amplifiers.
k Number buttons
Use for track selection and program playback (pages18 and
19).
l DIMMER button
Use to adjust the brightness of the main unit’s display (page21).
m PLAY MODE button
Press to switch between program and shuffle playback modes
(page19).
