Authorized service center personnel should perform repairs.
Portable compressors can fall from tables or rooftops causing serious injuries or death to
the operator. Always operate the compressor in a stable secure position to prevent
accidental movement of the unit. Do not operate the compressor on a roof or other
elevated positions. Use more air hose to reach high locations.
When transporting the compressor, always use a protective mat as fluids from the
compressor may leak or spill. Leaks can damage carpet, paint or other surfaces in
vehicles or trailers.
Please read and follow the instructions outlined in this manual before operating your
compressor. Unsafe operation of your air compressor could lead to serious injury or
death to you or others.
ASSEMBLY
CAUTION
DO NOT OPERATE THIS AIR COMPRESSOR WITHOUT FIRST ADDING OIL TO
THE CRANKCASE. Major damage will result from even limited operation unless filled
with oil and broken in properly. Be sure to follow all initial start up procedures.
CAUTION
COMPRESSORS ARE SHIPPED WITHOUT OIL AND MAY HAVE A SLIGHT
AMOUNT OF OIL IN THEM FROM TESTING AT THE FACTORY. Be sure to fill oil to
proper level before operation.
CAUTION
Use only SAE30 (API CG/CD heavy duty motor oil). Make sure unit is on a level surface
before adding oil. Also, use the oil viewing glass to see the oil level. When adding oil, be
careful not to fill the oil too fast as it may overfill suddenly.
