Air Intake Filter: This filter cleans the air that comes into the air compressor pump. This filter
should always be clean and free from debris.
Check Valve: The check valve permits air to enter the tank when the air compressor pump is
pumping air. When the air compressor cuts-out, the valve closes and traps the air from leaving
the tank.
HOW TO USE YOUR UNIT
Stopping your unit:
Set the On/Auto/Off switch to the “OFF” position.
Break in procedure
Break in is required before the air compressor is put into service and when the check valve or air
compressor pump is replaced.
Verify that the switch is in the “OFF” position.
Check the oil level in the air compressor pump.
Make sure there is no air leaking from the quick coupler by pulling the coupler back.
Plug the power cord into a standard properly grounded wall receptacle.
Fully open the drain valve to prevent pressure buildup during the break-in period.
Run the compressor for 20 minutes verifying that there is minimal pressure buildup.
After 20 minutes, close the drain valve. The air receiver (air tank) will fill to “cut-out”
pressure and the motor will stop.
How to Start:
Turn the On/Auto/Off switch to the “Auto” position and allow tank pressure to build.
When the tank pressure reaches the “cut-out” pressure, the motor will automatically stop.
To adjust the output pressure, pull the pressure regulator knob out and adjust the pressure.
Counterclockwise decreases the pressure and clockwise raises the pressure.
NOTE: Always operate the air compressor in a well-ventilated area free of flammable or
combustible vapors. Do not place air compressor near the spraying area.
