EXTENSION CORDS
It is recommended that more air hose be used instead of an extension cord. Using more
extension cord will cause a voltage drop resulting in power loss to the motor.
If an extension cord must be used, verify that it is:
• A 3-wire extension cord that has a 3-blade grounding plug, and a 3-slot receptacle that
will accept the plug on the product.
• Extension cord is in good condition
• Length cannot exceed 50 feet.
• Larger than 12 gauge (American wire gauge (AWG)). As the number gets smaller, the
wire gauge gets larger, as the number gets larger, the wire gauge gets smaller.

On/Auto/Off Switch: Put this switch in the “ON” position to provide automatic power to the
pressure switch and “OFF” to remove power at the end of each use.
Pressure Switch: The pressure switch automatically starts and stops the air compressor based
on the tank pressure. If the pressure is low, the pressure switch will cut-in and turn the
compressor on. If the pressure in the tank is high, the pressure switch will cutout and turn the
compressor off.
