Turn off the machine and engage the parking brake
After raising the seat chest disconnect the connector pos.
5, from the machine and connect it to the battery charger
pos. 6.
Consult the battery charger’s user’s manual before
starting it up.
Charge the batteries with intensities of not more than
one twentieth of their capacity
When the charge is complete check the level of
electrolyte and, when necessary, top up using just
distilled water.
Reconnect the connector with that of the machine to
start it up again.

recharging you should read the battery’s user
instructions.
The battery must always be recharged in an aerated
room.
The gas produced during recharging can generate
explosions if it comes into contact with flames or
sparks.
The battery acid must never come into contact with the
eyes, the skin or the clothes so you must wear protective
glasses, gloves and appropriate clothing.
If the acid does come into contact with the above wash
with large amounts of water.
Do not rest metal objects on top of the batteries.
Do not top up with sulphuric acid or other products.
Place the sweeper in the operating range of a gantry
crane, a trolley or a hoist etc.
Remove the key and remove the battery connector
pos. 5
Engage the hand brake.
Remove the left hand side panel pos. 3
Get a lifting beam, a couple of belts or chains for lifting
pos. 4.
Lift out the old battery and put the new one in.
It is as well to spread Vaseline over the positive and
negative terminals before fitting the connection cables to
the connector
Close everything up again
