Using the Child Restraint with the 5-point Harness: 9 – 21.3 kg (20 – 47 lbs)
Crotch strap fits snugly
between child’s legs.
Failure to follow all instructions and warnings can result in
your child striking the vehicle’s interior during a sudden stop
or crash, potentially resulting in serious injury or death.
Child’s ears MUST be below the
top of the child restraint.
Shoulder harness straps as
close as possible but NEVER
below the child’s shoulders.
Chest clip fastened and at
armpit level with no more
than two finger-widths of
slack between the harness
straps and the child.
Child restraint can not
move more than 25 mm
(1 in.) forward or side-to-
side at the belt path.
Locking clip installed for
shoulder and lap belts with
a free sliding buckle tongue
(if needed).
Buckle tongues are fully
engaged into the buckle.

Checklist for a Properly Secured Child
To change the shoulder harness level, loosen the
shoulder straps, press thumb tab and release
harness anchor .
Turn the harness anchor sideways and slip it
through the slot in the seat back as shown.
Move the strap to the appropriate position and push
the harness anchor through to the back of the
seat
again. Make sure the harness anchor is properly
snapped into place and flush against the child re-
straint’s seat back. Repeat for the other side.

To reposition the crotch strap, turn the harness an-
chor on the end of the crotch strap sideways and
push it through the slot in the restraint seat. Reposi-
tion the harness anchor into the other slot. Make
certain the harness anchor is properly seated against
the seat shell .
NOTE: The crotch strap should be snug against the
child; choose the slot that is closest to the child AND
the most comfortable for the child.

Unsnap the chest clip
by squeezing the tabs
with your thumb and
forefinger. Then press
the red buckle release
and remove the buckle
tongues.
