Using Your Child Restraint

snug against the child and as close as possible, but
NEVER below, the child’s shoulders. The crotch strap
should ALWAYS be snug against the child.

over 21.3 kg (47 lbs) or if the child’s shoulders are

• IMPORTANT •
If the vehicle seat belts are not routed and fastened
correctly, the child restraint may not protect your child
in a crash.
In addition to the lap belt you MUST also use the top
tether strap provided with this restraint if: a) your
vehicle has lap belts that only lock during a sudden
stop or crash (emergency locking retractor); or b) your
vehicle seat belts are forward of the seat crease and
will not hold the child restraint tightly.
