Using the Belt-positioning Booster
Place the belt-positioning booster cushion on the
vehicle seat. Put child in the belt-positioning booster
cushion so that the child’s back and bottom are flat
against the booster cushion. Place the vehicle’s lap/
shoulder belt across the child and buckle the seat belt.
This belt-positioning booster cushion has two
positioners through which the shoulder belt can be
adjusted to correctly fit the child.
The vehicle’s lap belt should be low and snug across
the child’s hips.The vehicle’s shoulder belt must cross
the child between the child’s shoulder and neck.

You MUST route the vehicle’s lap
belt between the back of the
armrest and seat. (Armrests are
not available on all models.)

The shoulder belt should NOT cross the child’s neck
or fall off the child’s shoulder. NOTE: If the vehicle’s
shoulder belt naturally crosses the child’s shoulder,
you do not need to use the shoulder belt positioners.
This child restraint system, even when unoccupied, MUST
be firmly secured with a vehicle seat belt/LATCH harness
and tether strap at all times. An unsecured child restraint
may injure someone if a crash occurs.
