Place the child restraint in
your vehicle forward-
facing.
Adjust the child restraint to
the upright position (p. 29).
Thread the vehicle seat
belt
C through the child
restraint.
Note: Lift the pad away for
easier access.
If the vehicle belts are not
routed and fastened cor-
rectly, the child restraint
may not protect your child
in a crash.

DO NOT use the two lower harness slots forward-facing.
The harness may not properly restrain the child in the
event of a crash.
