INTEGRATION
The EVO
/ECM-Modbus RTU is usually connected to a SCADA (Supervisory Control And Data
Acquisition), Factory Automation, or building automation system.
These systems provide a
means for a person to monitor status and receive event/alarm notifications anywhere through
various wired or mobile platforms. These systems are usually configured from off the shelf
software and components.
BACNET IP
A BACnet building automation system may include HVAC, lighting, and life safety
subsystems. The EVO
/ECM-Modbus RTU controllers can be integrated to a BACnet building
automation network through Modbus to BACnet gateways to operate in response to other
subsystems. The gateway directs the data flow back and forth between BACnet and the Modbus
network.

Each EVO/ECM-Modbus RTU controls 4 fan motors and each Modbus to BACnet gateway
connects up to 28 EVO/ECM-Modbus RTU controllers to the BACnet building automation network.
