Meter Gain Calibration
Press the SETUP key, the program will advance to the meter gain calibration. The
display will show:
ENTER meter gain
Calibration
Apply 2.2VDC between Probe HI and Probe LO, then press ENTER. 7611 displays the
voltage it measures. The display will show:
XXXX mV
Enter probe mV
Key in the correct voltage as necessary. The ENTER key enters the number into
calibration data and refreshes the voltage display. The EXIT key exits without
changing calibration and returns the menu back to the previous screen.

Meter Range Auto Calibration
Press the SETUP key, the program will advance to the Ratio Check calibration. The
display will show:

TEST to start
Press the Test button to start the process. In this procedure, 7611 uses the gain
calibration data from procedure 2 to calibrate other ranges. It is fully internal and
automatic. There is a dedicated DAC for the ratio check. During the ratio check, 7611
displays the raw ADC readings. The screens will be displayed as follows as the Ratio
Check is executed.
Auto gain ratio
takes ∼ 25 sec.
