RAN3: XXX
RAN4: XXXX
14.2.7
DUT Voltmeter Calibration
Press the SETUP key, the program will advance to the AC voltage
calibration. The display will show:
ENTER AC Voltage
calibration
This is similar to the gain calibration where a known voltage source is applied to the
DUT power input. Apply 60Hz, 120 V rms to the DUT power input. Then press the
ENTER key. The 7611 shows the measured voltage.
XXX.X V
Enter Line Volt
Key in the correct voltage then press the ENTER key. The voltage reading will be
updated. When the calibrated value is correct press the EXIT key to return to the
previous screen.
14.2.8
Measuring Device Calibration
Press the SETUP key, the program will advance to the MD circuit calibration. The
display will show:
ENTER MD:A
calibration
The last five calibration items are to calibrate the MD resistor values. Connect a DC
voltage source in series with 1K resistor, a current meter and the probe input terminal
(Probe HI to Probe LO). The voltmeter should be set to 3.1V DC. Press the ENTER
key. There will be a short pause while the MD circuit is configured and a current
reading is taken, and then the display will show:
MD:A, I= XXXX µA
Enter probe µA
Enter the reading of current meter and press the ENTER key. The data will be saved
and returns to the same screen with the new current reading. The value can then be re-
entered if necessary, or press the EXIT key when the calibration is acceptable.
Press the SETUP key again and the MD will advance to MD:B. The display will show:
ENTER MD:B
calibration
