10.5 ERRORS
An error is a condition that stops the automation.
When an error occurs: the ERROR LED turns on with
a steady light.
When not in the programming menus, press the
++ and
--
simultaneously to display the relative er-
ror code.
10.6 ALARMS
An alarm is a condition that does not affect the opera-
tion of the automation.
The ERROR LED flashes when an alarm occurs.

Board failure Perform RESET. If the problem
persists, replace the E045S.

SETUP incorrect/
missing
Perform SETUP.

BUS 2easy de-
vice fault/con-
flict
Check the addresses of the devices.

BUS 2easy short
circuit/overload
Check the connections of the
BUS 2easy devices that are con-
nected and registered.

Call BUS 2easy Check the connections of the
BUS 2easy devices and repeat the
acquisition procedure if necessary.

FAIL SAFE
Test failed
FAIL-SAFE test of a device
failed. Check the connections,
programming, and that the pho-
tocell/sensitive edges are working
correctly.

Configuration
Error
Check the board configuration (basic
and advanced programming) and
if necessary carry out the SETUP
procedure.

Encoder 1 failure Make sure that the encoder is con-
nected properly. If the problem
persists, replace the encoder.
