Adding a remote-control
The remote-control (supplied) is programmed as
follows:
ON = push-button 4
OFF = push-button 1
This paragraph refers solely to the insertion of a new
remote-control: the one supplied with the kit is the
master
remote-control. The new remote-control will
be a
slave
remote-control.
To add a
slave
remote-control to the system, you have
to work in steps in a limited time period.
Step 1: synchronise the
slave
remote-control with the
master
remote-control. Bring the two remote-controls
forward, so that they touch.
- Simultaneously press push-buttons 1 and 2 on the
master
remote-control, and release them when the
indicator light flashes. Press and hold down the ON
Key. On the
slave
remote-control, press the ON Key
and release it when the indicator light goes OFF (after
a double flash, to confirm that a memory-storage
operation has taken place). Release the ON key of the
master
remote-control.
- Do likewise for the OFF key.
Step 2: put in ADD DEVICES mode.
- press the ON key of the
slave
remote-control for about
one second.
- press the ON key again (for about 1 second); you
should hear a beep from the control unit.
- press the OFF key of the
slave
remote-control for
about one second,
- press the OFF key again (for about 1 second); you
should hear two beeps from the control unit.
- “TL” appears on the keypad followed by the serial
number of the fitted remote-control. We advise you to
take a note of this number to facilitate the NAME
DEVICES function.
Attention: if all the remote-controls are deleted from
the control unit, you should program the first remote-
control (
master
) proceeding as follows:
- enter in the ADD DEVICES mode on the control unit,
- simultaneously press push-buttons 1 and 2 of the
remote-control, and release them when the indicator
light flashes,
- press the ON key of the remote-control for about one
second; the control unit should emit a confirming
beep,
- simultaneously press push-buttons 1 and 2 of the
remote-control, and release them when the indicator
Adding a control keypad
Press the key and, then, using a pointed object
press the configuration access push-button.
The control keypad beeps once.
The control unit beeps once.
