6.7 Setup flock
At the beginning of a new cycle, only the following settings have to be
made. These settings are made per house. The computer will do the rest.
Method
1. Press
Setup flock.
The following text will appear on the display:
2. At House enter the number of the house where the flock will be setup.
The settings made here automatically apply to all the scales in this
house (e.g. house 1).
3. At Day enter the age of the flock. The computer uses this setting to
determine the actual position in the growth standard.
4. At Flock number enter the number of the new flock (e.g. 0299 = 2nd
flock in 1999).
5. If the growth standard is not used for this house, enter the average
animal weight at Initial wght.
6. Set Agreed? to YES.
As soon as the settings have been stored in the computer’s memory, it will
change House and Day into 0 again, Agreed? into NO, and will process
the number of days and flock number entered at key
Scale data.

If Agreed? is set to YES at setup, the computer will erase the
administrative data relating to the previous flock for all the scales in
this house.
