The axis controller of type CPX-CMAX-C1-1 is intended
exclusively for use in CPX terminals from Festo in conjunc
tion with suitable components. The maximum values
specified in the section “Technical specifications” must be
observed here.

Warning
S Switch off the power supply before connecting or
disconnecting plugs (otherwise this could lead to
functional damage).
S Use only power units which guarantee reliable
electrical isolation of the operating voltage as per
IEC/DIN EN 60204-1. Observe also the general
requirements for PELV power circuits as per IEC/DIN
EN 60204-1.
S Connect an earthing cable with sufficient cross-
sectional area to the connection on the CPX terminal
marked with the earth symbol.
S The CMAX contains electrostatically sensitive
components. Therefore, do not touch any
components. Observe the handling specifications for
electrostatically sensitive components.
