How to troubleshoot a Fimco PRO Paint Sprayer when the motor does not run?
    • M
      Micheal LevySep 12, 2025
If your Fimco Paint Sprayer motor isn't running, start by checking for any loose wiring connections. Ensure that the 'ON/OFF' switch in the lead wire assembly is in the 'ON' position ('I' is 'ON', 'O' is 'OFF'). Check the pressure switch and ensure you're connected to a good 12-volt power source. To test the pressure switch, remove the cap, pull off both red wires, and touch the ends together; if the pump runs, the pressure switch needs replacing. Also, check the fuse and ensure there is adequate voltage at the power supply.

What to do if my Fimco PRO has a pulsating flow?
    • V
      vfisherSep 13, 2025
If you're experiencing pulsating flow (surging) with your Fimco Paint Sprayer, there are several potential causes. Begin by checking the pressure switch for any defects. Inspect the discharge line for leaks or restrictions. Also, check the nozzle orifice for any debris. The discharge hose may be too long. Finally, check the strainer for clogs.

Why won't my Fimco PRO Paint Sprayer pump prime?
    • S
      Sean BrownSep 15, 2025
If your Fimco Paint Sprayer pump isn't priming, check the supply line for air leaks. Inspect the check valve assembly for debris and ensure the check valve isn't defective. Also, check for a clogged strainer/filter and cracks in the pump housing. Finally, ensure that the product supply is not empty.
