What to do if my FireAngel Thermoptek ST-622 doesn't sound during testing?
    • H
      haleyaveryAug 13, 2025
First, ensure the alarm is fully rotated clockwise on the base plate to activate the power pack. If testing immediately after activation, wait a few seconds for the alarm to settle. Also, make sure you firmly push the center of the test button. If the unit has been silenced and is in low sensitivity mode, it may not test; wait 15 minutes and try again. If the alarm was recently fitted and still fails to self-test, contact technical support.

If your FireAngel Smoke Alarm doesn't sound during testing, ensure the alarm is rotated clockwise as far as it can go and is securely located on the mounting plate to activate the power pack. If you've just activated the alarm, wait a few seconds before testing. Also, make sure you firmly push the center of the test button. If the unit has been silenced and is in low sensitivity mode, wait 15 minutes before trying again. If the alarm was recently fitted and still fails to self-test, then no answer.
