If the fuel is stale or contains water, drain the tank and carburetor and refill with fresh fuel. * Confirm the spark plug wire is connected to the spark plug and replace the spark plug if it's bad. * If the engine is flooded, wait 5 minutes and try re-cranking the engine. * Also, clean or replace the fuel filter and check the battery charge.
