10 Pre-flight Inspection
Inspect the external and accessible internal antennas to verify that they are clean
and not damaged. Power on FLARM and verify that no error occurs during the boot
sequence. If an error occurs, check the severity and type of error (error code) to
determine if the system can be operated for the flight. Error codes are listed in
Appendix B. After power-on, the system should indicate GPS and TX (Transmit).
Note: The system will not indicate GPS and TX if the GPS does not have a clear
view of the sky (e.g. if inside a hangar).
