6.5 Other Interfaces
6.5.1 Gigabit Ethernet
Gigabit Ethernet (GigE) is a common interface found in most PC’s. The GigE interface can be used
for image acquisition and/or camera control. The GigE interface is GigE Vision/GenICam compliant.
6.5.2 CoaXpress (CXP) [A858x only]
CoaXpress is a digital video standard that is becoming popular for machine vision applications
because it uses standard RG-59/RG-6 coax cable. This interface can be used for image acquisition
and camera control. The CXP interface is also GenICam compliant.
6.5.3 HD-SDI Video
The A858x video output produces HD-SDI video according to the SMPTE 296M standard. The
camera supports 720p at 50/59.9Hz or 1080p at 25/29.9Hz
The A6000-Series cameras video output produces SDI digital video. 720p format at 50/59.9/60Hz.
The video supports user-selectable color palettes.
6.5.4 AUX Connector [A626x, A675x, A678x, A858x]
The AUX connector provides access to additional signals. The diagram below shows a close-up view
of the rear panel connector.
A breakout cable is provided with all A626x, A675x, A678x, and A858x cameras.
