pointinthebackbone.
Largesystems
Ifthebackbonelengthisgreaterthan60m(197ft),
thepowerconnectionpointshouldbeconnectedat
apointthatcreatesabalancedcurrentdrawfrom
eachsideofthebackbone.TheLoadEquivalency
Number(LEN)isusedtodeterminethepower
connectionpointforthesystem.
IntheexampleabovethesystemhasanoverallLEN
of10,sotheoptimumconnectionpointwouldbeto
have5LENeithersideoftheconnectionpoint.
