Chap. 4: Functions
Operating characteristics
- Constant pressure
The system is composed of an electro-pump and an electronic control system that allows the constant pressure to be maintained in
the system, reducing or increasing the rotation speed of the electro-pump motor depending on the water requirement. 3 pressure
levels are available (1,8 bars - 2,4 bars and 3,0 bars)
- Automatic operating:
Should the pressure of the system descend to below the threshold set when water is requested the electronic control system starts
the pump automatically. The pump remains on for the entire time required. When no longer required the pump is stopped after a
short interval of time.
-Safety devices:
The electro-pump is equipped with a safety device against dry running that avoids damaging the pump in case of a lack of water.
The electro-pump is equipped with an electric protective device which is activated in case of temporary or definitive damage to the
motor
Restarting after anomalies: reset function
In case of anomalies the pump can be restarted with: Automatic resetting: If the “Auto-reset” function is activated (by means of
reset pushbutton), the electronic control system will execute the automatic reset attempts shown below:
The pump will attempt to restart after 1 minute; if a lack of water continues to be detected or electrical damage it will be stopped again.
A new attempt will be made after 10 minutes and then, respectively, after 30, 60 and 120 minutes. After the fifth consecutive attempt
the pump is arrested definitively. In such a case it is necessary to individuate the cause of the anomaly (lack of water or electrical
damage), remove it (see CHAP. 7 Maintenance and troubleshooting) and proceed with the manual resetting.
Manual resetting: it is possible to manually remove the emergency block at any given time by pressing the RESET pushbutton even if
the card is set at automatic RESETTING (Auto-reset led on).

Chap. 5 Installation (see Fig. 1 and 2)
All of the operations relative to the installation must be carried out when the pump is disconnected
from the supply network. The pumps in this range are not suitable for use in swimming pools and
the relative cleaning and maintenance operations.
Protect the electro-pump and all of the tubing from freezing and inclement weather.
Do not expose the pump to humidity. Protect the pump from rain. Ensure that there are no
dripping connections above the pump. Do not use in wet or humid areas. Ensure that the pump
and the electrical connections are located in positions safe from flooding.
