Fluidmaster EVERYTHING - Step 8 (Continued): Install New Fill Valve; Secure Fill Valve with Locknut

D: INSTALL LOCKNUT
Using green tool, twist right to
screw locknut onto ll valve shank
(below tank). Tighten 1/4” beyond
hand-tight.
Do Not Overtighten*.
E: ATTACH REFILL CLIP TO
OVERFLOW PIPE
Note: If rell tube is too long to t
inside tank with lid closed, remove
rell tube from ll valve rell port, cut
tube and reattach to port.

Overtightening may crack the ll valve or tank causing ooding. Make sure the oat cup
does not touch the tank walls or tank lever and ush valve.
