Source Voltage Accuracy Test, Open Circuit
Determine the open circuit source voltage accuracy by calculation. use the DUT Voltage
Reading Error % previously noted. Complete the subsequent test to verify the actual open
circuit source voltage.
1. Remove test leads from the DUT terminals.
2. Set the DUT rotary function switch to an insulation test function.
3. Press T and record the DUT display reading for each step in Ta b l e 7 .
4. Use the previously determined DUT Voltage Reading Error % to calculate the actual open
circuit output voltage for each voltage range. Make sure that the calculated value is within
the limits shown in Ta bl e 7 . The formula is Recorded DUT Display Reading x DUT Voltage
Reading Error % + Recorded DUT Display Reading.
