Throttle Body
• The throttle body is used to assist with
the exhaust aftertreatment system.
Intake Manifold
• The intake manifold on the 6.4L Power Stroke
®
Diesel is made of aluminum and directs the flow
of air to the intake ports in the cylinder heads.
• The manifold absolute pressure sensor (MAP)
and the intake air temperature 2 sensor (IAT2)
are both mounted in the intake manifold.
