Have your device find the system
In the Bluetooth menu of your device,
select SYNC.
A six-digit PIN appears on your device
and on the system screen.
If your device prompts you to enter a PIN,
enter the PIN displayed on the touch-
screen.
If you are not asked to enter a pin,
confirm that the PIN provided by SYNC
3 matches the PIN on your cell phone
when you are prompted by the system.
The display indicates when the pairing
is successful.
Have your device find the system
SYNC 3 asks you to choose your settings
for certain features. You cell phone may
also prompt you to give SYNC 3 permis-
sion to access information. For more
information on your cell phone's capab-
ility, see your cell phone's manual and
visit the Ford or Lincoln website.

Once you have paired a device you can
