4.1 Setting the Operating Temperature
Turn the freezer on. The cabinet temperature will be displayed in the LCD
window.
Press the CONTROL SET POINT key and a "1" will appear in the LCD
window.
Enter access code (1,2,3,4). The "1" will remain in the LCD window.
Press the ENTER key and the word "SET", along with the control set point
temperature will be displayed in the LCD window.
If an operating temperature other than that displayed in the window is desired,
turn the temperature set point screw using the adjustment screwdriver. The
set point screw is located to the right of the ENTER key on the Enviro-
Scan Monitor control panel. (The adjustment screwdriver is located on the
bottom of the freezer frame. Refer to Figure 3-2.)
Note: Forma Scientific recommends setting the cabinet temperature no colder than
necessary for product storage.
Press the ENTER key and the LCD display will return to the cabinet temperature.
4.2 Setting the Low and High Limit Set Points
The High Limit set point is factory-set at -65° C. The Low Limit set point is set at
three degrees below the operating temperature. If another temperature limit set point is
desired, it is set as follows:
a. To display or change the Low Limit Set Point:
Press the LOW LIMIT key and a "1" will appear in the LCD window.
Enter the access code (1,2,3,4).
The "1" will remain in the LCD window.
