Replace 18k Duct Type unit Compressor and Motor
Removal and Assembly of Fan Motor
Step Illustration Handlin g Instruction
Important: Before removing the fan, make sure power to the system is disconnected.
1.
Unplug the
motor cables
Use screwdriver to remove the
electric box cover and unplug the
motor cables in electric box.
2.
Remove the
base board
3.
Remov e the screws
Loos e and take out the screws
fixing the bas e board, then remove
the base board.
on fan sub-assembly.
Remov e the screws on
fan sub-assembly.
4.
Removing the fan
cage enclosure
Rotate the fan cage housi ng
toward supply openin g and
remove.
5.
Loose n the fan、
crosshead and
motor.
6. R eplace the motor
Use a hex wrench to loose n the
screws holdi ng the fan cag e to the
motor shaft, and the screws
holding the crossh ead to the motor
shaft. Remove outer housing
holding motor in place.

7.
Reassembly of the
Reassembl e the unit in the reverse
order of disassembly and test
operation.
Remove the motor from the support
bracket. T hen remove the fan
cages from the motor shafts.
Remov e the motor from the air inlet
and replace with new motor. Be
sure to tighten the cages onto the
motor shafts.
