ALARMS
E2: Film brake 2x beep / warning light (repeated sequence)
The film has finished or is broken, the cycle is stopped;
- The film has finished or is broken
- Check whether the film reel has
finished and replace if necessary;
- Check that the film is not broken;
- Check that the film has been fed
correctly.
- Check the film stretch during bottom
wrapping, carriage ascent, top
wrapping, carriage descent.
- Film pre-stretch too high
- Check the film pre-stretch during
bottom wrapping, carriage ascent,
top wrapping, carriage descent.
- The dancer roller does not move or moves
forwards and backwards with difficulty
- Clean the dancer roller;
- Remove dirty and any film residues.
- The analogue sensor is not correctly regulated
- The analogue sensor can be moved
forwards and backwards; simply
unscrew the two nuts and approach
the proximity sensor to the dancer
roller until it nearly touches it. During
the carriage motors’ stop, the dancer
roller must be completely still. The
more the delay of the dancer roller
during the wrapping program, the
more the pallet will be stretched.
- The analogue sensor does not work
- Check the cables
- Replace the analogue sensor
E3: Safety contact 3x beep / warning light (repeated sequence)
The emergency mushroom button has been pressed
- This alarm indicates that the emergency button
has been pressed
- Check the situation and deactivate
the emergency button. Then press
the “Reactive” button.
- The emergency button does not work or is not
properly connected
- Replace the emergency button
The anti-crushing device on the carriages
- This alarm signal has found that pressure,
detected by the microswitches for anti-crushing
safety, has been exerted under the carriage
- Check the situation. Whether the
protection has a mechanical block.
If something has been put on the
carriage, thus activating the alarm.
- Microswitches positioned incorrectly or
disconnected
- Correctly position the micro switches
on the top of the carriage with the
pre-stretch or if is an mechanical
carriage check the sensor on the
base or under the carriage.
- Microswitches not working properly
- Check the voltage to the micro
switches that normally work closed.
- Replace the micro switches.
