If the power source is connected to the grid during installation, there is a danger of seri-
ous personal injury and property damage.

Only carry out work on the device when the power source's power switch is in the -
O - position.
▶
Only carry out work on the device when the power source has been disconnected
from the grid.
Intended Use The power source is only intended for MIG/MAG, MMA and TIG welding. Any other use
is deemed to be "not in accordance with the intended purpose." The manufacturer shall
not be liable for any damage resulting from such improper use.
Intended use also means:
- Following all instructions in the Operating Instructions
- Carrying out all the specified inspection and maintenance work
Setup regulations The device has been tested according to degree of protection IP 23. This means:
- Protection against penetration by solid foreign bodies with diameters > 12 mm (0.49
in.)
- Protection against spraywater at any angle up to 60° from the vertical
The device can be set up and operated outdoors in accordance with degree of protection
IP 23.
Direct moisture (e.g., from rain) must be avoided.
WARNING!
Toppling or falling devices can be deadly.

Place devices on a solid, level surface so that they remain stable.
WARNING!
Danger of electrical current due to electrically conductive dust in the device.
This can result in severe personal injury and damage to property.

Only operate the device if an air filter is fitted. The air filter is a very important safety
device for achieving IP 23 protection.
