Settings in BIOS Setup Utility
The complete deletion process can be recorded as an audit-compliant log
and copied to an external USB stick, which must be formatted as FAT32.
Please connect only one external USB stick.
Select whether a status report should be written to the USB stick.
The user can select the following tasks which should be run by the
system after the deletion process:
Reset administrator and user password
Load BIOS setup defaults
Shutdown the Computer
Exit Erase Disk with no additional options upon completion
Select the function which you require.
The deletion process starts.
Configuring RAID da
ta storage
If your system configuration contains two identical SSD memory modules,
you can configure RAID data storage.
You can select from the following RAID levels:
•RAID1:Mirroring
Mirroring for increased data security through full redundancy
RAID 0: Striping
Quicker without redundancy, for increased memory speed
Intel iRST/VMD driver pack
You can access the Intel iRST/VMD driver pack required for RAID storage on the DVD
"Drivers & Utilities" or online at "http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/Download".
Switch on
VDM controller
Restart the device and simultaneously press on function key
F2
.
The BIOS
Setup Utility starts.
Select Advanced - Internal De vice Congurations.
Change
the VMD Controller setting from Disabled to Enabled.
To save the changes select Save Changes and Power OFF and Ye s.
The ch
anges are saved. Your device is shut down.
You can now install the software. You have two options in this regard, as explained below.
