How to fix a Fujitsu Desktop with power-on indicator unlit?

  If the power-on indicator on your Fujitsu Desktop remains unlit, it could be due to a faulty mains voltage supply. Check whether the power cable is properly plugged into the device and a grounded mains outlet. Alternatively, the internal power supply might be overloaded. In this case, pull the power plug out of the mains outlet, wait approximately 3 minutes, plug it back into a properly grounded mains outlet, and then switch the device on.

  If the time and date are incorrect on your Fujitsu Desktop, set the correct time and date within the operating system you are using, or set the correct time and/or date in the BIOS Setup. If the time and date are repeatedly wrong when you switch on your device, replace the lithium battery (see "Replacing the lithium battery", Page 78).

Why my Fujitsu Desktop cannot be switched off with the ON/OFF switch?

  If your Fujitsu Desktop cannot be switched off with the ON/OFF switch, it might be due to a system crash. Keep the on/off switch pressed for at least 4 seconds until the machine switches off. Caution: This can lead to a loss of data! This procedure does not allow the operating system to shut down in an orderly way. The next time the system is started there may well be error messages.

  Your Fujitsu Desktop monitor might remain blank for several reasons. It could be switched off, so ensure that you switch it on. Power saving might be activated, so press any key or deactivate the screen saver and enter the password if needed. The brightness control could be set to dark, so adjust it. The power cable might not be connected, so switch off the monitor and the device, then check that the monitor power cable is properly connected to both the monitor and a grounded mains outlet or the device's monitor socket, and that the device power cable is properly plugged into the device and a grounded mains outlet.
