Settings in BIOS Setup Utility
Option 1: Intel Rapid Storage Technology and Intel®
Optane® Memory and Storage Man
agement
► Restart the device and simultaneously press on function key
F12
.
► Press on the tab key in order to
change the menu and select Intel Rapid Storage Technology.
► Set a RAID volume.
► To save the changes select
Save Changes and Power OFF and Yes.

The changes are saved. Your device is shut down.
► Restart the device.
► Install the Windows operating system, all necessary drives and the application
Intel® Optane® Memory and Storage Management, as described in the readme
file attached to the Intel iRST/VMD driver pack.
► Install the RAID volum
e with the application Intel® Optane® Memory and Storage Management.
Option 2: Intel® Optane® Memory and Storage Management
► Restart the device.
► Install the Windows operating system, all necessary drives and the application
Intel® Optane® Memory and Storage Management, as described in the readme
file attached to the Intel iRST/VMD driver pack.
► Set the RAID volume with the application Intel® Optane® Memory and Storage Manage m ent.

The data will be migrated in the background.
