► Slide the drive into the bay (1).
The screw p o sitions are different for non-accessible drives and accessible drives:
• sheet me tal stamping 1 (in illustration: b) valid for accessible
drives (Mu lticard/SmartCard reader).
• sheet metal stamping 2 (in illustration a) valid for non-accessible
drives (HDDn/SSD n, also in adapter).
► Secure the drive with the s
crews (a or b, depending on the type of drive).
► When installing a 3½ inch hard disk: Connect the cables to the drive.
Make sure the polarity is correct.
► Connect the other end of
the cable to the corresponding USB port or SATA port of the mainboard.
► Fold the drive cage into the closed position again (see chapter "
Closing the drive cage", Page 44).
► Fit the casing cover on
to the casing again (see chapter "
Reattaching the casing cover.", Page 33).
If necessary, you mu
st adjust the entry for the drive accordingly in the BIOS Setup.
