Operation
Switch the device on

Your ESPRIMO features a new technology which allows you to boot your system simply
with a light touch of your finger: You no longer need to press the power button down to
activate your system. Just touch the button with your finger and the system starts to boot
automatically.
► If necessary, switch the monitor on (see the operating manual for the monitor).
► Touch the ON/OFF switch on the front of the device for approximately half a second.
The power-on indicator lights white and the device is started.
Switching off the device
► Shut down the operating system properly. In Windows: via the Start menu and the Exit function.
► If the operating system does not automatically switch the device into energy-saving mode or
switch it off, touch the ON/OFF switch for approximately 1 second.

The ON/OFF switch does not disconnect the device from the mains voltage. To completely
disconnect the mains voltage, remove the power plug from the socket.
► If necessary, switch the monitor off (see the operating manual for the monitor).
