Configuring the Data Transfer Width
[SCSI Bus Width]
You can configure the width of data transfer when your
computer is connected to the scanner via SCSI Connector 2
on the CGA Board.
1 Start up the Software Operation Panel.
Refer to "9.1 Starting Up the Software Operation Panel" (on page
156).
2 From the tree listing on the left, select [Device Setting 2]
D [SCSI Bus Width].
3 Select [16 bit(Wide)] or [8 bit].
Scan Setting for Documents with Tabs or Non-
Rectangular Documents
[Scan Setting for Documents with Tab (Automatic
Paper Size Detection)]
When configuring settings to scan a non-rectangular
document with a tab (index) or tab (index) sticker at the its
bottom, you can scan and include such a tab or tab sticker in
the scanned image when [Automatic Paper Size Detection] is
selected.
1 Start up the Software Operation Panel.
Refer to "9.1 Starting Up the Software Operation Panel" (on page
156).
2 From the tree listing on the left, select [Device Setting 2]
D [Scan Setting for Documents with Tab (Automatic Paper
Size Detection)].
Select [8 bit] if using any SCSI card or SCSI cable that
does not support Ultra Wide SCSI.
