■ Installing ScanSnap Manager, ScanSnap Organizer, and
CardMinder
1. Insert the [ScanSnap Setup CD-ROM], which comes with the ScanSnap
into the CD-ROM drive.
⇒ The [ScanSnap Setup] dialog box appears.
2. Click the [Install Products] button.
⇒ Installation is started, and the Wizard dialog box appears.
3. The setup window appears. Follow the instructions on-screen to install the
application.
Prepare the ScanSnap Setup CD-ROM.
HINT
This dialog box is not displayed automatically when the [Auto play]
setting of your computer is disabled. In this case, run [Setup.exe] of this
CD-ROM directly using a browser window such as [Windows Explorer],
or run it from [My Computer].

The following window appears during the installation.
• [Typical] (Recommended)
ScanSnap Manager, ScanSnap Organizer, and CardMinder, as well
as respective manuals of them are installed.
•[Compact]
ScanSnap Manager and its manual are installed.
•[Custom]
You can select programs and manuals to install.
