Why can't I open Fujitsu ScanSnap scanned files?
    • B
      bryankaneSep 23, 2025
If saved files of scanned image data from your Fujitsu ScanSnap cannot be opened with the target application, check the location of the folder where you save the files. If the folder is located on another computer or a hard disk on the network, it may cause issues. Delete any corrupted files and retry scanning.

What to do if scanning does not start on Fujitsu ScanSnap?
    • H
      Holly MaysAug 23, 2025
If scanning won't start on your Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner, first ensure ScanSnap Manager is installed. Disconnect and then reconnect the power or USB bus power cable, waiting at least five seconds before reconnecting. Verify the USB cable is properly connected, and if using a USB hub, check that it’s a powered hub with an AC adapter. If ScanSnap Manager isn't running, start it via the Start menu under All Programs, then ScanSnap Manager, or via Applications, then ScanSnap in Finder.

Why is paper not feeding in my Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner?
    • B
      Bradley BassAug 26, 2025
If paper isn't feeding correctly or stops midway in your Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner, try these steps: * Clean the pick roller. * Replace the pick roller if it is worn out. * Remove any debris from the document feeding path. For thick documents, slightly push the first sheet when scanning starts and change the feeding direction. Ensure the paper size setting matches your documents. Load documents one by one if they are thin, torn, or bent.

Why is my Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner scanning so slow?
    • C
      Curtis WagnerAug 27, 2025
If your Fujitsu ScanSnap scanner is running slowly, first ensure your computer meets the recommended system requirements. A slower scanning speed may also happen if the ScanSnap is connected via a USB 1.1 port; connect to a USB 2.0 port instead. Also, wait for the computer to completely start up before scanning. To increase scanning speed, disable the settings for 'Correct skewed character strings automatically', 'Allow automatic image rotation', 'Set the marked text as a keyword for the PDF file' and 'Convert to Searchable PDF' in the ScanSnap setup dialog box/window.
