Acknowledegement signals
Entries or settings you make at your telephone are sometimes confirmed by acknowledgement signals.
Positive acknowledgement signal (1 long tone):
The positive acknowledgement signal indicates that your input has been accepted and stored by the
telephone.
Negative acknowledgement signal (3 short beeps):
Youwillhear thenegativeacknowledgementsignalwhen yourinputhas not beenaccepted by thetelepho-
ne, or when invalid input has been made.
