gases are present.
- Where corrosive gases such as
sulfurous acid gas and ammonia are
present.
- Where a lot of dust or iron powders
are present.
- Where organic solvents such as
benzene, thinner and alcohol, or strong
alkaline substances such as ammonia
and caustic soda may adhere to this
equipment, or where they are present.
- Where high-tension lines, high-voltage
equipment, power lines, power-driven
machinery, equipment containing a
transmitter such as a ham radio, or
equipment that generates a large
switching surge are present.
